The mission of the Department is to nurture well educated, competitive and innovative environmental engineers who possess well-founded theoretical knowledge, competent professional skills, individual and team work ability and managing competency.

The department of environmental engineering focuses on research and development in the areas of improving building protection by reducing heat loss, enhancing air quality, domestic and industrial wastewater treatment, sludge treatment, the environmental impact of treatment facilities, and waste management technology. The department manages bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs in environmental engineering. |
